Alpha-mining node · crypto perpetuals · runs on your machine
Mines trading formulas.
Tells you the truth about them.
An evolutionary search breeds thousands of alpha formulas over real perp market data — then holds each one to a locked out-of-sample test, an append-only forward track, and a simulator that charges fees and funding. What survives is yours.
No exchange keys required — the node mines on public market data.

How it works
A strategy factory with a quality gate at every door
The pipeline is a sequence on purpose: each stage exists so a formula earns its way toward your exchange instead of jumping straight from a backtest.
Evolve
A genetic search breeds formula trees over price, volume and funding — scored through a real portfolio simulator with vol targeting, fees and funding costs. Not a toy backtest.
Hold out
Fitness is min(TRAIN, VAL) Sharpe. A configurable most-recent slice of history stays locked: it is reported read-only and never enters fitness. Views that rank by it are labeled with a warning, not a highlight.
Track
One click enrolls a champion into the forward track: paper steps appended on closed live bars, fees charged, never rewritten by the app. The record is the record.
Deploy
Serve target weights for a formula or a whole portfolio over a local JSON API, or run the node headless in Docker on a server.
add(cs_zscore(z:18(close)), ema:200(close))
- data
- time-series
- cross-section
- combine
One tree out of the first random batch.
Why trust it
The product argues with you. That's the point.
Most strategy tools are built to show you good numbers. AlphaNode is built to make good numbers hard to fake — including by itself.
The search never sees the held-out data
A configurable most-recent slice of history is fenced off: the evolutionary search can't see it and fitness never uses it. It is reported read-only, next to every formula.
Cherry-picking is called cherry-picking
Rank anything by held-out results — a leaderboard view, a portfolio — and the app labels it as cherry-picking with the warning that the number is inflated. A lucky draw never gets to pose as skill.
The forward track is never rewritten
The app only ever appends paper steps on closed bars, with fees charged. No backfills, no do-overs. If a strategy decays, you will see it decay.
We attacked our own engine
Reinforcement learning, meta-labeling, ML ensembles, volatility forecasting, alternative fitness objectives — every overlay we built failed to beat the simple engine out-of-sample. So the simple engine is what ships.
What's in the box
One node, three faces: desktop, terminal, server
One-button Simple mode
Opens with a single Start button and a power preset — sane defaults do the rest. The full dashboard of settings, analytics and portfolio tools is one click away behind Advanced.
15m to 1d bars
Each timeframe keeps its own library and its own honest splits — intraday and daily alphas never mix in one leaderboard.
Fees and funding included
Every candidate pays execution costs and perp funding inside the simulation. Carry-style alphas are mined on real economics, not free money.
Regime X-ray
Per-alpha Sharpe in calm and storm volatility regimes, drawdown, CAGR, Sortino, win rate — computed on held-out data, labeled as analysis.
Headless & Docker
The same node runs on a server with a live status page, CLI control and a self-stepping forward track. Cap it at any share of your CPU.
Signal API
Target weights and leverage of any champion or portfolio, served as JSON on localhost — plug it into your own execution.
Plain answers
First questions
Does it need my exchange API keys?
No. Mining and forward tracking read public market data. Keys only matter if you wire the signal API into your own execution — and that part runs on your machine too.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes, and without a card. Register on the order form, download the build and let the node mine as long as you like — the search, the simulator and the held-out tests all run unlicensed, and the leaderboard shows what every formula scored. What waits for the key is the payoff: the formula text itself, its signals, the PDF report, Serve and the forward track. Mining first and activating later loses nothing.
What does the activation cost, and what does it cover?
249 USDT for the first activation, and that is also your first 30 days; each further 30 days is 99 USDT. One key per account, entered once in the app: it opens the formulas your nodes mined and activates a set number of machines. Payment options in USDT (ERC20 or TRC20) arrive by email after you register.
Will the mined strategies make money?
Unknown — and anyone who promises otherwise is selling you something. AlphaNode's job is to make sure the numbers you see are honestly measured: held-out tests, real costs, forward tracking. The decision stays yours.
Won't every node find the same formulas?
No. Each install mints a unique node ID that seeds its own search trajectory, so no two nodes mine the same library. What your node finds is yours.
Does it trade for me?
No, and it never touches your exchange account. The node mines, measures and tracks; at the end of the pipeline it serves the target weights of a champion or a whole portfolio as JSON on localhost. Turning that into orders — in your size, with your risk limits — stays on your side of the line.
What market does it mine, and on what bars?
Crypto perpetuals, from public exchange candles, on 15m, 1h, 4h or 1d bars. Each timeframe keeps its own library and its own splits, so intraday and daily alphas never share a leaderboard. Every candidate pays execution costs and perp funding inside the simulator — carry-style alphas are never mined on free money.
Is my data sent anywhere?
Your library, settings, forward track and signals stay on your disk. The node downloads public candles from the exchange, and a licensed node asks our licence server whether the subscription is live — that call carries your key and a random per-install ID, never your formulas or your data. Unlocking a formula is the one exception: the sealed text goes to the server to be opened, and comes straight back.
What happens when the 30 days run out?
Nothing is taken away: your library and your forward track are files on your disk, and the node goes on mining. What it finds next is sealed again until you buy the following 30 days. Pausing is fine too — we keep the record of activated accounts by email, so access comes back when you do.
Can I run it on more than one machine?
Yes. One key activates a set number of machines, and because every install mints its own node ID they mine different libraries instead of racing to the same formulas. Retired a machine? Write to support@alphanode.tech and we free the seat.
Does it keep mining when I close the window?
Everything found so far is already on disk, but the search itself pauses with the desktop app. For around-the-clock mining run the same node headless — a server install or Docker — with a live status page, CLI control and a forward track that steps itself.
What does it run on?
Windows 10/11, macOS on Apple Silicon, Linux (deb or AppImage), or any Docker host. The headless node runs on just NumPy and pandas; a laptop core or two is enough to mine around the clock.
